Unique short drop earrings handcrafted in Sterling Silver with an oxidised finish. Taking the shape of the Barnhouse stone these earrings represent stone marker which aligns with Sun and the entrance passage to Maeshowe during the Winter Solstice. Comes boxed.

In the heart of Neolithic Orkney sits an astonishing example of prehistoric architecture. Inspired by the symbolic landscape and its links with the Winter solstice our collection, Maeshowe, has been beautifully designed to portray the legacy of our ancestors and the timeless relationship we feel between then and now. Important features from this World Heritage Site have been included to create a wonderfully unique collection; the alignment marker showing the Sun’s pathway during Winter Solstice, the Barnhouse Stone and the ring engraved with 12 points to represent 12 months.
