Here at Ortak we manage the entire jewellery production process. Once we have designed a piece we create a master model before developing a mould for larger scale production. We then cast the jewellery before finishing and polishing, all within our own workshops. The sustainability of our supply chain is so important to us, which is why we use 100% recycled eco sterling silver, crafting beautiful pieces that don't cost the earth.
We are proud to use the latest technologies in jewellery making alongside our traditional hand crafting activities.
Ortak’s fully equipped modern workshop is situated in the City & Royal Burgh of Kirkwall. Its location, in the beautiful Orkney Islands, is open to visitors and one on one consultations alike. Come along and see for yourself and you can be sure of a very warm welcome.
